Happy Birthday Wishes
This Thursday is Helen’s birthday! Let’s all send her our best wishes.
Offsite Walks
There appears to be interest in walking in the Brickworks area to catch Fall colours – yes it will be when we next walk. It could be October 7, Thanksgiving weekend, but if that is too busy a time, then the following Saturday perhaps?
Starting points could be:
- Rosedale near Craigleigh Gardens walking down Milkman’s Lane and north to the Brickworks. Pros: free parking on the street. Cons: big hill, need to drive somewhere for brunch at return if that is desired
- The Brickworks going north or south (tbd). Pros: choice of route, place to eat at end on site. Cons: paid parking, can be very busy.

Saturday looks good so let’s see all of you out! Loblaw’s at 8!
I’m going on a “Heritage Toronto” walk today.

The website is being fussy. For many of the comments, they are getting through but I have to approve them. It’s not a setting I selected but it seems to work that way regardless. I am notified when you post. Just give me a few minutes to respond.

I plan to walk on Saturday but as usual, don’t wait for me if …..
I’d love to walk in and around the Brickworks, starting in Rosedale (or meeting at Castlefrank subway if that’s more convenient for those who come by TTC). It is spectacular when the fall colours are at their prime.

Either this blog is going to end up with a dozen comments from me or none! I can’t seem to get this to work. Anyway ….
First of all, happy birthday Helen!
Second, I won’t be out this week or next week, as I’ve signed up for a couple of Bruce Trail hikes.
And lastly, if there are any walks from the Brickworks in October, I’m interested.
