Hair of the Dog
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Hair of the Dog run/walk race and lunch. $45 +HST for race and lunch; 11 am start.
Weekly Walks
Although the weather forecast is very good for this Saturday’s walk (well above freezing), it will not always be thus. Consider the PATH if the roads are too treacherous. A few of us make it a go-to on those days when it’s a better option than risking broken limbs—this is a thing as we know from bitter experience.
The PATH is very extensive. We walked 8 km last Sunday and it’s very quiet on weekends.

It looks like Thursday might be a good day to walk the East Don Trail near Arlene’s if the forecast holds. Rendezvous at 8:30 Tim’s near her place. Check WhatsApp for details.

I’ll be out on Saturday. And I’ve signed up for Hair of the Dog.
For what it is worth, a group of walkers has signed up for the Robbie Burns race in Burlington (Jan 21). https://sites.google.com/burlingtonrunners.com/brcrunners/races/robbie-burns
There’s a 5km and an 8km route, though the 5km route begins 1km from the gathering place (so it is actually a 6km route). Both routes end indoors (think warmth and bathrooms) at the Burlington Arts Centre, and the 8km route starts at the Centre as well.
