Fall Gathering Survey

Our annual Shore Things Gathering is scheduled for Saturday November 14th. As we have heard to the grapevine that some may be away that date, could you give a heads-up on WhatsApp as to whether you plan to attend? That way we can best plan for the event. Thanks!

Weekly Walks

Is it time to switch to long sleeves yet? Possibly this Saturday morning. Currently rain is forecast but not until the afternoon.

Coyote v. Acme IRL?

Walks Saturday September 5 to Friday September 11

Lou-Ann send along a link to a great article on bone health. Seeing as to some of us are starting to feel a bit creaky, it might be of interest to us.

Many of us have walked through Taylor Creek Park over the years, and noticed the new branch running along the Don at Don Mills. It seems the work on that new trail is complete and could be a great site to explore. This could be an interesting weekday walk, and there is parking near the Elevated Wetlands. (aka the “teeth”, “molars”, or “elephant feet”. Here is a short video about them.

Here is a collection of photos from last Saturday when I went out to explore a bit of the trail.

Join us this Saturday for the usual, plus a bonus Labour Day walk from Tim’s 2 at 9:00 am on Monday.
