Sidetracked but finally done. Yes, we meet on Saturday at 8 at Loblaw’s.
Tentatively set for a Wednesday now, either August 19 or 26. Please let us know your preference in the comments or on WhatsApp (include “both are fine” if that is the case).
Reminder it’s on August 15! Please let Lou-Ann know if you’re attending. Thanks!
Raccoons in Toronto, who would have guessed?
A duo of celebration this coming week: first Sharon on Tuesday, then Norma on Friday. Best wishes to both!
Conditions are good for a walk. Be there!
Thank you Lou-Ann for this link to a great article on bone health. Well worth the read.
The forecast for Saturday morning could not be better, so let’s all get out there for a good distance. Helen is back as well, albeit for shorter and slower walks but getting stronger every day. Don’t forget to peek into Loblaw’s just in case there’s another promotion going on. We seem to have good luck on our side. Ask Ruth…
Thanks to Jan for this cute duo of flappers.
Just a quick prompt to let Lou-Ann know whether you’re attending this year’s splashy gathering on August 15, if you haven’t done so already.
The bad air will likely be past us by Saturday
…but…
there is a possibility of thunderstorms according to one weather app. The other says clear skies in the morning. Who can you trust?
Hopefully all will be clearer closer to the weekend. 🤞🏻
If the news is good, you know where and when.
On our Wednesday walk to and in Taylor Creek Park.
Leverne is celebrating this Friday and Marie close behind on Saturday. Happy birthday and bon anniversaire!
Looks like a glorious sunny day is slated for Saturday. Sunglasses and sunscreen weather! L@8.
Saturday will be somewhat more reasonable after this recent stretch of blistering hot temperatures. So let’s get out there. If there’s any desire for an earlier start, please say so in the comments. otherwise, L@8 as per usual.
Spotted in Taylor Creek on Wednesday.
Best wishes to Arlene next week on Friday!
Perfect forecast for Saturday! Helen the bionic woman may even make a coffee appearance (tbc). See you at L@8.
A perfect forecast for this Saturday! Sunny but not too hot. Hoping for a great showing although Helen may be otherwise engaged (Hip! Hip! Hooray!?).
You know the place and time.
Just in case you may have missed the last announcement, the Annual Shore Things Potluck Pool Party (ASTPPP) will be on August 15. Please rsvp Lou-Ann as soon as you can.
All the best to Rainer next Friday the 19th!
It’s a hot one this Saturday and we may have the whole gang back. L@8!
The date is set—August 15, the sun ordered, and all we need is your confirmation. Please respond to Lou-Ann via email, which will be shared in the email you will get soon, and in WhatsApp.
So far, we may avoid the rain on Saturday as it seems predicted for the afternoon. H and I will regrettably miss this one even though we’re back, as it’s our move-in day. The rest of you should have not be so engaged, so we are hoping for a good turnout. You know where and when.
