Offsite Walk This Weekend
Good news: I have booked a table for post walk brunch at Boca Brunch, on Cosburn Avenue at Derwyn Road for 10:30. There is parking on Cosburn and on the side streets. For those wishing to carpool, an option is convening at Earl Haig PS parking lot and leave by 7:40 for Rosedale where we will park in the neighborhood of Craigleigh Gardens. Let everyone know in the comments if that works for you so we have enough vehicles.

Bad news: at the time of writing, the weather forecast (depending on the app) is calling for rain Saturday, but light (1 mm). Options are deferring a week (hoping it won’t be the same again AND we still have fall colour), or grinning and bearing it, dressing appropriately and getting ‘er done. Option 3 is of course just passing on it entirely. Option 4 is to wait and see.
This might help you decide. Thanks to Susan for the link!

See those who are carpooling on Earl Haig Saturday before our 7:40 departure. If you’re not at EH, we’ll assume you’re going to meet us at Craigleith Gardens at 8 —unless you’ve signed in with your regrets. Hoping the leaves are peepable!

I will be at the starting point by 8:00 am unless pouring rain. Looking forward to this route – a favourite of mine.

I’ll be at the Earl Haig parking lot Saturday morning (unless the walk is cancelled). I’m all for walking, unless it is actually pouring, but that’s just me.
